we were never mean,
what I didn't know,

It happened so fast,
in the blink of an eye,
I can't comprehend,
I won't even try.

You hurt us all,
you lied to me,
your so called friend,
the used-to-be.

You earned my trust,
from the very start,
and then you had,
to tear me apart.

Why you lie,
I'll never know,
this other side,
you've never shown.

Now I cry,
for all our pain,
but for all these lies,
what is to gain?

Attention or love,
is that what you see,
all of those things,
they won't set you free.

The lies that you told,
you can't take them back,
not even the hearts,
that you had to crack.

What was this,
some kind of wrath,
I can't believe,
you chose this path.

And now I know,
the true blue you,
and what you say,
can't know it's true.

These hidden tears,

since that's your plan,

I can't even trust,
